2alike is the creation of band members Max Wright (drums), Matt Pearse (sax) and Luke Adams (guitar). 2alike are a contemporary trio that explore the sonic possibilities of jazz improvisation around folk and rock based music. Inspired by modern jazz and metric grooves, 2alike create a unique sound whilst maintaining a strong connection with the jazz tradition.

The band formed at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where they currently study, playing in and around the Cardiff area on a regular basis. The band's unique line up gives them a very interesting sound allowing for intense interaction and improvisation. 

2alike have recently released their debut EP "201" which is available to download/stream for free on band camp! The EP consists of the bands original compositions giving a great insight into their style, sound and direction their moving.
